It’s all about the reading experience: for iPad users…

The good folks at WordPress and Onswipe have teamed up to create a new look for WordPress blogs that are read on the iPad. (In case you didn’t realize, this blog is hosted on WordPress.) All you need to do to see the new version is turn on your iPad, go to nursingeditors.com and voila! There it is. I am working on installing a custom cover image (the first page of the blog that you see) but that seems to have a few bugs–WordPress support is working on the fix and I’m tracking their progress in the support forums.

So what do you think? I like the look but there are lots of folks over on the forum who want to go back to the old version. There is also, at present, no way for you, the end user, to switch back and forth. We can only do that here at Nursing Editor’s Command Central. However, that’s another feature that the WordPress team has at the top of their list to fix.

Answer this poll and let us know directly if this appeals or not. When you answer, the tally of results will be displayed. This is a completely anonymous survey and by answering, your informed consent is implied. :-) Sorry…couldn’t resist.

Note: There seems to be a bug with the poll function in Onswipe, too, so don’t try to look at this post and answer the poll on your iPad. LOL. How many more problems will I find?
