INANE members were sad to learn of the death of Pat Patsdaughter on January 26, 2014. Pat was the Associate Editor of the Journal of Nurses in AIDS Care (JANAC) and on the faculty at Florida International University. You may read a tribute to Pat here. Consider a donation in her memory to support mentoring of future nursing editors–one of Pat’s passions. You can donate here.
On September 20, 2013, we lost a very dear colleague and friend. Visit the featured blog post announcing her death, and see the many tributes to Suzanne in the comments.
INANE is an international collaborative – a collective of nursing editors and publishers focused on meeting the practice, research and education needs of the nursing profession. Our primary mission is to promote best practices in publishing and high standards in the publishing of nursing journals, books, and Web-based literature.
Each year in July or August INANE holds an international conference hosted by a volunteer member. Conferences are held at least every third year in a location other than North America.
