Applications for the Suzanne Smith Mentoring Editors Awards will be accepted from February 1, 2022 until March 15, 2022. Awardees will be announced on April 1, 2022. Note that the intention of this program is to support those who have an emerging interest in editing and publishing, such as newly appointed editors attending INANE for the first time, peer reviewers, and editorial board members. These awards are not intended for seasoned editors or publishers. We welcome self-nominations!
The fine print: Awards will be given as a complimentary registration to INANE 2022 (value: $495) which allows one individual (four total awards to be given) to attend the four day INANE 2022 conference that will be held in Nashville, TN, July 31-August 3, 2022. Registration includes attendance at all sessions, meals, breaks, social networking tour, the opening reception, and access to conference materials in Guidebook. Award recipients are responsible for their own costs for travel, hotel, and incidentals. Award recipients will be selected by the Mentoring Editors Award Committee.
