Journal of Perinatal and Neonatal Nursing: Neonatal Editor Position

Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) is seeking a Neonatal Editor for the Journal of Perinatal and Neonatal Nursing (JPNN). JPNN is a leading journal publishing practical, up-to-date, and reliable information and a comprehensive resource for nurses, nurse practitioners, midwives, clinical nurse specialists, and others involved in perinatal and neonatal care. The Neonatal Editor provides the vision, energy, and leadership for the Neonatal section of the Journal.

An Overview of the Position:

The Neonatal Editor is responsible for the Neonatal section of the Journal, working closely with the Perinatal Editor. Both Editors are responsible for the overall leadership of the Journal. The Neonatal Editor, alongside the Perinatal Editor, decides the upcoming issue topics and encourages and develops journal content. The editor manages the Neonatal manuscript acquisition and peer review process, and appoints and directs the activities of the editorial board and peer-review panel.

Review of applications will begin on January 18th, 2016 and will continue until the position is filled. The term of the editor will begin January 1, 2017, with a gradual transition through the latter half of 2016. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
