Call for EIC: Research and Theory for Nursing Practice

Research and Theory for Nursing Practice is seeking a qualified and distinguished editor to review, edit, and select articles for publication in the peer-reviewed journal. Research and Theory for Nursing Practice is published four times a year by Springer Publishing Company. This position is paid and would be for a three-year, renewable term.

Candidates should be well-established researchers, who also have sufficient experience serving on journal editorial boards and writing scholarly articles.

We are seeking an editor who is dedicated to improving nursing practice, education, and patient care through the dissemination of articles that address or integrate theory, research, and practice, with a direct bearing on practice.

Editors are expected to maintain and enhance the journal’s reputation as a preeminent nursing publication; be discerning, fair, and timely in the coordinating the peer review and disposition of submitted manuscripts; and work with the publishing staff and the journal’s online manuscript and review system to ensure confidential and professional handling of manuscripts.
